The weekend weather was almost enough to make you change the plans for the birthday party. Although it was 71 degrees just before noon on Saturday, it was 20 degrees cooler two hours later. By Sunday, the day of the party, as the cold front made its way to North Texas, the temperatures dropped by another 50 degrees. North Texan residents are certainly not accustomed to single digit temperatures and you briefly considered rethinking the frozen yogurt and ice cream themed station for your daughter’s 13th birthday party.

You would not, obviously, be setting up the frozen yogurt spoons and matching ice cream cups outside as you had planned. Instead, all of the food, craft, and activity stations would be indoors.
